Yes, the data is shared. The Ultipa server V4.x is HTAP, its highly-available feature requires the replication of data in the disk. So if one instance is down, the cluster will continue working without problems and users can read and write the data. If more than half of instances are down, the write is forbidden but the users still can read from the rest instances. There is sharding applied, but it is different than its original meaning from this point of view, hope this answers your question.
