About UQL

UQL (Ultipa Graph Query Language) stands as Ultipa's Graph Query Language (GQL), meticulously crafted for the Ultipa Graph Database and Graph Computing Engine.

UQL enables robust CRUD operations, versatile graph queries (spanning nodes, edges, paths, subgraphs), graph algorithms, and the management of various graph-related aspects such as graphsets, schema, property, index, server, process, task, privilege, policy, and user. Users can harness UQL through multiple avenues, including the Ultipa CLI (Command Line Tool), Ultipa Manager, Ultipa Drivers (SDKs and APIs), and the Visual Studio Code application.

UQL aligns with the international standards set by the emerging GQL (Graph Query Language) standard, slated for launch in 2024. The Ultipa team actively contributes to the standardization organization to aid in the development and benchmarking of the GQL standard.

Convert openCypher to UQL

For developers accustomed to openCypher, an open-source graph query language developed by Neo4j, Ultipa offers a seamless transition to UQL through our command-line tool, Cypher to UQL. This tool, initially implemented in June 2022 and compatible with Windows, Mac, Linux, and Linux ARM, allows developers to convert openCypher queries to UQL effortlessly.
